MSHRM maintains several committees to address issues across a broad spectrum of topics in health and law. The Government Issues Committee, for example, closely follows legislative topics that impact risk management in the healthcare industry and, when necessary, represents the group in legislative and judicial matters.

The Education Committee organizes and hosts a variety of educational health law meetings, including a three-day annual meeting and conference. The Communication Committee drives awareness of healthcare risk management efforts among both the professional and public sectors.

Similarly, the MSHRM Membership Committee enhances organizational visibility in the industry and works to expand MSHRM membership throughout the state. Additional committees include the Sponsorship Committee, the Awards Committee, and the Council of Past Presidents. To learn more about these committees visit mshrm.org.
